Updated Classic Frames that Honor Sir Winston Churchill
Renowned British Prime Minister Winston Churchill was so revered and beloved by his people that he was “lain in state” in the Palace of Westminster Hall, a rare honor normally reserved for monarchs. So we named these frames, styled after his own eyewear, Westminster Halls. While Westminster Halls are offered in traditional rounded tortoise shell, we’ve also added glossy black as an option. Today, this style frame is seen regularly on the faces of successful Wall Street bankers and financiers as well as university intellectuals who recognize their history and aspire to match Sir Winston’s commanding presence.

Renowned British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, in addition to being a great leader, was also known for his taste and aristocratic style. If you'd ever met him, you would never forget his polka dot bow tie, large maduro cigar, and of course, his iconic tortoise shell rounded spectacles. Sir Winston was so in love with his glasses, purchased from C.W. Dixey & Son in London, that he secured from Mr. Dixey the pledge to never sell the same frame style to another customer while he lived. Indeed, one of the last three remaining Dixey frames awaiting delivery to Churchill was sold at auction for over $9,000. We're proud to offer our version in both tortoiseshell and glossy black, updated with spring hinges to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.
