Straight-Temple Version of our Classic Windsor Frames
Drury Lane is known as one of the world's great theatrical districts. Optical frame designers Peabody-Pierce LTD studied and captured the eyewear styles of the play writes, directors and actors and reflected the results in the No. 23 Trim-Frame Windsor. This is another example of the Peabody-Pierce trim-frame which reduces traditional shapes to a minimum size, to better manage the frame-on-face-ratio. These frames have a classic feel yet at the same time are contemporary.
Oval saddle-bridge frames are a long history and tradition among the British theatre elite.
No.23 Trim-Frame Windsors eyeglasses are a traditional matte-silver finish and oval lens Windsor frame. The straight modern temples differentiate these frames from our classic cable temple Focusers' Windsors. The saddle bridge comfortably rests on your nose while the thin strong temple arms measuring a full 145mm rest gently upon your ears. Many customers have asked specifically for frames that have the saddle-bridge design as they find it more comfortable than silicone nose pads. We are proud to source new fine frames for our inventory to please these requests.
