Classy Round Black Frames with a Creative Legacy.

George Burns with round black glasses

Our famous Black Owls have always been popular among our customers, and now they are even better than before! To meet our clientele's high standards, we lengthened the temples, allowing the curved shafts to rest more comfortably upon the ears and fit most any size head. The stainless-steel spring hinges provide more flexibility and a secure fit on faces of various sizes. Made from glossy black Zyl, these striking, circle shaped eyeglass frames transmit a distinctive image because the temples are joined to the sides of the frame at the middle--not at the top like most glasses.

"I look to the future because that's where I'm going to spend the rest of my life." - George Burns

Black Owls were first requested by fashion conscious customers who saw them in trend-setting movies and on television. Although these top quality frames are today's sizzling style, in actuality, men and women of fine taste have been wearing them for years. Clarence Darrow and J. P. Morgan favored Black Owls. In Hollywood, Spencer Tracy, Humphrey Bogart, George Burns and designer Edith Head wore them because, like a magic spell, when you put on a pair of Black Owls, you convey an image of strength, patience and wisdom. Do they actually make you smarter? Probably not--but people will think you are.
