While visiting Paris, one of our designers took her husband to the original Cartier jewelry store in the Place Vendôme. While admiring a luxurious Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch in one of the showcases, she marveled over its epicene quality that suggested a self-assured masculinity when worn by men, and an equally strong, self-assured femininity when worn by women. After carefully studying this classic watch, she found herself imagining how it could be interpreted as matching eyewear. Upon returning to our studios, she began developing these frames as a pet project. Her labor of love paid off, and we proudly offer Diamants Ambre frames.
