Traditionals rimless eye frames are based on a style of "pince nez" eyewear worn by Teddy Roosevelt. We added temples to accommodate contemporary sensibilities, but retained the elegant Gilded Age styling. When we investigated college campus life for suggestions about the frame styles we might offer to our customers, our researchers were surprised to discover that frames like these were often found on the faces of the most attractive members of the university community. Their traditional "T" fitted hardware to hold the lenses, and rigid design makes these rimless frames about as sturdy as frames can be made. The temples and bridge are non-allergenic Monel metal alloy, and extenders at the joinder of the temple and lens allows these frames to fit comfortably on any face. Traditionals are similar to our Tuxedo Cable rimless frames, with the only difference being Traditionals' standard "skull" temples vs. the Tuxedo coils.
