Downtown Manhattan is famous for many things, not the least of which are its old-school gourmet delis, some of which are well over a hundred years old. A stroll through the shops on Avenue A, Delancey Street or along the Upper East Side will overwhelm you with a sensory smorgasbord of culinary delights. On a recent visit, while enjoying a nice reuben on rye, our designer was inspired to try and capture the essence of the New York deli environment in our new NYC Deli frames. The classic keyhole bridge/extended hinge area styling of these frames come in two colors – Pickle (you decide if it’s dill, sweet or gherkin) and Beet, inspired by traditional beet borscht. These spicy frames are hot, fresh item to add to your wardrobe, as prescription, sunglasses or readers!
