I am having lenses fitted, however the optician felt the glasses were flimsy and may break in the process.

I was surprised that the arms were not bent so it is difficult to retain them in place.

I liked the style and shape of the glasses but am unsure whether they will stand up to being worn constantly

Not an accurate reproduction. The lenses are much bigger than civil war era glasses. Too expensive for an inaccurate reproduction.

Shipped in a timely manner. Packed well. They are sturdier than I anticipated. The lenses are the 3.25 strength that I ordered. They fit me well. Very affordably priced, too. Highly recommend!

Focusers advise that these frames are not designed for day to day use.

I have used the pair I have alternating equally with a more modern steel frame pair I have for a year now without any issues aside from some white metal plating wearing off at the very rear tip the arms which now display a copperish appearance. Not a big deal for me at all.

They still look beautiful.

More importantly, the saddle nose frames are the most comfortable type to wear that I have ever experienced.

Thank you Focusers!
